Day by Day

Arrival in Tokyo

Tokyo

Upon arrival at either Narita or Haneda Airport, your private driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals lobby and will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Tokyo.

After arrival to the hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey, and get ready to begin your sightseeing adventures the following day.

Tokyo Highlights

Tokyo

Enjoy a full-day private tour of Tokyo, visiting some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and neighborhoods. Begin with a visit to the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens, followed by a stroll through the lively Tsukiji Outer Market. Continue to Meiji Jingu Shrine, one of Tokyo’s most important Shinto shrines, before exploring the vibrant streets of Harajuku and Shibuya.

Samurai Spirit & Old Tokyo

Tokyo

Start the day with a unique Samurai Kendo experience, where you can learn about and try this traditional Japanese martial art under the guidance of an experienced instructor. 

In the afternoon, head to Asakusa to explore the historic atmosphere of one of Tokyo’s most traditional neighborhoods, followed by a visit to Tokyo Skytree, offering spectacular views across the city.

Mt. Fuji Day Trip

Fujikawaguchiko

Take a scenic day trip to the Fuji Kawaguchiko area, one of the most beautiful destinations for views of Mount Fuji. Enjoy a ride on the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway and visit Tenjo-yama Park, followed by Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. Continue to Lake Saiko and Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, a traditional Japanese village offering a glimpse into the region’s heritage. The tour also includes a visit to Fugaku Wind Cave, a fascinating natural lava cave formed by volcanic activity from Mount Fuji.

Free Day & Food Culture

Tokyo

Enjoy a free day in Tokyo to explore the city at your own pace. Whether you choose to shop, visit museums, discover hidden neighborhoods, or simply relax, the day is yours to enjoy. A variety of optional tours and hands-on experiences can also be arranged upon request. In the evening, experience Tokyo’s vibrant food and nightlife scene with a Shinbashi Izakaya Tour, visiting local izakayas and enjoying authentic Japanese food and drinks in a lively atmosphere.

Shinkansen & Thousands of Torii Gates

Kyoto

This morning, travel from Tokyo to Kyoto by Shinkansen. A dedicated support staff member will accompany you from your hotel and assist you to board the Shinkansen, making your departure from the busy and complex Tokyo Station smooth and stress-free. For an enhanced travel experience, a Green Car upgrade is available upon request.

In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day private tour of Kyoto by private vehicle. With your luggage safely stored in the vehicle, you can explore the city comfortably without having to carry your belongings. Visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, followed by a leisurely stroll along the Kamogawa River.

Discover the timeless beauty of Kyoto, beginning with Yasaka Shrine and the atmospheric streets of Gion. Continue to Kennin-ji Temple and visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto’s most celebrated landmarks.

Later, take part in a unique Kintsugi jewelry workshop. Learn about this traditional Japanese art of repairing ceramics with lacquer and gold, while creating your own one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry to take home as a special memento of your journey.

Arashiyama & Traditional Japanese Culture

Explore some of Kyoto’s most iconic cultural treasures. Walk through the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and visit Tenryu-ji Temple, before continuing to Kinkaku-ji, the famous Golden Pavilion, and Nijo Castle.

The day also includes a traditional Japanese tea ceremony experience, offering an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty, tranquility, and hospitality of Japanese culture.

Nara & Transfer to Osaka

Nara

Depart Kyoto and travel to Nara by private vehicle. Along the way, enjoy views of the picturesque tea fields of Wazuka, one of Japan’s renowned tea-growing regions.

In Nara, explore Nara Park, where you can encounter the city’s famous freely roaming deer, followed by Yoshikien Garden, Todai-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Kofuku-ji Temple. Continue to Naramachi, the historic district known for its traditional townhouses and charming streets, before proceeding to Osaka.
